Cumene Hydro Peroxide(CHP) is an Organic Hydroperoxide, colourless to pale yellow liquid with a strong odour and highly inflammable chemical. It is used as a Curing/hardening agent instead of MEKP.
Application
- As an oxidizer for organic chemical reactions
- As an intermediate to Phenol, methyl styrene, cumyl phenol, and acetophenone
- As a free radical initiator for acrylate and methacrylates monomers
